In Japan, retailers have only just now begun taking pre-orders for the Wii’s launch. According to a report from Nikkei IT Plus, Nintendo will have 400,000 Wii units available for Japanese gamers on December 2nd, the Japanese launch date.
Nintendo has promised to ship 4 million units worldwide by the end of the year, although it is unknown how they’ll break down the shipments across regions. Added thumbnails and a video below.
